Lisa and I traveled to St Augustine to do a story about "Inns of Elegance" She is a writer and I worked on some images for the article. We stayed at the St Francis Inn the oldest continually operating B&B in St. Augustine. We were with a Group of 17 travel writers and had a great time meeting new contacts and learning some new tricks to add to our tool box. Here are a few quick images, More to come!

6 images to create this one in 12 layers
The day started out great with fantastic clouds and beautiful light. As the day progressed the typical summer storms started rolling in. We dodged storms throughout the afternoon and when it came to the sunset I was sure we were not going to get anything. But I set out to the other side of the inlet to set up and shoot in hopes that we would get something.
We started shooting about 45 minutes before sunset till about an hour after.
I saw many images that part of the image looked great but not the whole image.
So as I was shooting I knew I would use sections of photos to create one image.
We used the headlights on my truck headlights and Q beam to light the boat, and mother nature did the rest.
The sky, house, water and boat each have several layers to create this image.
Lets start out with the base image and build that up to the final!
Each layer might not look like something is done but every layer has its small detail to ad to the final image.
Then the final over all adjustments to match the top image.
I hope you enjoy the final image.
